Emotions are at a peak when a hurricane threatens to wash away The Beach Club and all it stands for.

Multiple story lines

Many characters with their individual story lines are met by many more characters with more story lines. I didn't think it would ever end!

Fun read

This is a great book that is highly recommended. I love her books and will continue to read them.

Loved the characters in this book. Many different layers and story lines that make the book interesting!

Obnoxious

This narration is absolutely terrible. I can’t even finish the book, listening to her is like nails on a chalkboard.

Not my favorite from this author

The story was just mediocre, but the performance by the narrator was very well done! Multiple voices and quick changes... very well done!

Good but not captivating

I was annoyed by “he said” “she said” with all the conversations. Never a variation as “ he replied” or anything but “ said” I know thus is petty but it really got on my nerves.

poor narration. she read the story with different inflections. I can't finish it... I'm in chapter 2 and I can't do it

Great Beach Read

Love all things Elin Hilderbrand. Highly recommend reading Blue Bistro and Hotel Nantucket. You can’t go wrong with any of Elin’s books.

such a fantastic story

it was the glimpse in to different lives and the ending that was Unexpected. I love this book. I am definitely going to get another.

Not her best work

I’ve been a fan of EHs books for years now. I’m glad I didn’t read this first because I don’t think I would have read any others. It’s interesting that this was her first because in my opinion it was the worst. All the characters were super annoying. It was too long and at times extremely boring and predictable. I also feel like the person who read it didn’t do it any favors. I love her books and have probably read/listened to more then a dozen and this was my least favorite. I’m kind of annoyed I wasted a credit on it. I was so relieved when it was finished. Skip this one and try one of her others, any one-they are all better.
