Unconventional Love

I really enjoyed this story and its unconventionalness. Poppy and William are both strong and powerful personalities but they compliment each other not battle like you'd think. I really enjoyed that books were a big part of this because I enjoy being reminded of other book lovers. While the start of this romance was unconventional I really enjoyed it. Lacie and Marcio did a great job narrating this story and making it all the sweeter.

rivals to lovers short read

This book was cute. It was a little cliche but had all the things a rivals to lovers romance should have. They had good chemistry and the narrators were the best part of making it come alive. There wasn't anything I could find wrong with the book!

Entertaining

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This is book 3 of a series and I did not read the other two but this one did a job all on its own. Loved the interactions between William and Poppy. Both are very professional while still falling for each other. The narrators made the story come alive and as I listened I felt like I was watching these two on TV. Well done.

Unconventional and Perfectly Perfect

An unconventional match up, William and Poppy are business rivals, but they're forced to try to work together for a client. The publisher was thinking outside of the box, but it could have been a complete disaster. Rather that being oil and water, I see more of a yin and yang dynamic. Completely charming and complimentary to one another, we get a romantic couple to root for. The writing flows effortlessly, and we really get to know both William and Poppy. I have loved other books by this author, and expect this trend to continue. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

Billionaire for the win!

Competitiveness always if good foreplay and this couple has plenty of it! William and Poppy are rivals pushed to work together by a company looking to gain their business. At the end of their collaboration, the romance publisher will decide which company to work for. The situation is tense, the chemistry between the two incredible, so will they be able to work together? And in the end, what will happen when one is chosen over the other? Leslie North writes these Jameson men with passion for their jobs and for their women. I loved this story the best of the series, finding the couple to be engaging, and their banter a lot of fun to listen to. Poppy is especially enticing to me for her business acumen, making the competitive value between the two very worthy opponents leading to sizzling chemistry.

The duet narration of this story by Marcio Catalano and Lacie Glennox is spot-on. The two have incredible symmetry while narrating and blend together beautifully. They both have great voices and good comedic timing for their banter together.

Excellent addition to the series! I really liked these narrators. Very sexy and hot!

The narration was good. I will definitely be looking these narrators up to listen to more!

Competitors, rivals or?

He is William Jameson, CEO of a 3 generation Advertising agency .
She is Poppy Hanniford, owner of the up and coming Advertising agency Wildflower, and as Willam seems to think stolen the last three accounts they have both pitched.
So when these two are forced to work together on a campaign, winner takes all, their take charge attitudes come to the forefront and they lock in battle more than once, but who is the winner or do they both win in the end?
This author has come up with a scenario I have not listened to before. She has appropriately named this book “The Billionaires Sexy Rival”, but she could have added Alpha on, because they both are.
She has a reference to Poppy’s favorite movie “Gone With The Wind” and a scene with a challenge in reference to that movie that is hilarious. This story is cute, funny and would be a great summer in the sun read.
I was gifted this Audible book by the author, thank you Leslie North, in the FB group Aural Fixation. I enjoyed listening to these two narrators they did a fantastic job.

Sweet Love Story!

This is the third book in The Jameson Brothers. I love this story. This is my favorite in the Series. William and Poppy are both great characters and I absolutely love their happy ending. This duet narration is well done. The narrators have a great voice, easy to listen. I really enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
