Publisher's summary

"Luke Volume II", often called "The Acts of the Apostles", completes the "Pentateuch of the New Testament". The traditional title of this book is, in some respects, a misnomer: It primarily deals with the "acts" of Peter and Paul. It really should be called "The Acts of the Holy Spirit".

This review will explore the continuing mysteries of Hag Shavuot in Acts 2; the surprises in the history lesson Stephen gives the Sanhedrin in Acts 7; the controversies dealt with in the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15; the seamanship details which permitted the discovery of the anchors cut loose in Acts 27; as well as the adventures of Paul and his companions during his missionary journeys.

More than just the book of acts

Mr. Missler will take you down some interesting rabbit holes. That’s what I enjoy the most about Chuck Missler, he will give you information from other parts of the bible that connects to the chapter or verse your currently reading and connects the dots. At first I found it tough to follow, then after I listened to his style of explaining things, I realized I was retaining much more information because I was understanding so much more than just the text in that single chapter or verse.

Excellent Review of Books of Acts

Dr. Missler repeats the important information so many times and correlates events so much that if you pay attention, or take notes ,( I did both), you will remember all the essential points. I have a 24 credits yearly membership for $229 and bought this expensive book for only 1 credit. Great deal.

Excellent Study!

I learned many new things about the disciples and the apostle Paul. There are some familiar teachings, but the in depth background to the setting, Jewish religious beliefs, Biblical cross references, geography, and later archeological discoveries gives new light and meaning to beloved passages! Dr. Missler’s work and teaching have advanced my understanding and appreciation for the Bible by light years...

Faithful, Fantastic Analysis

Helped me significantly with a better understanding of the Book of Acts. Really knowing and getting the way the Church started and the great challenges Peter, Paul and the rest of the early Christian leaders faced helps me to appreciate the wonderful things that I have in Jesus due to their faithfulness. I love the way the book works thingsout to get me to really read and investigate the results of the scriptures and come to my own conclusions with the full guidance and love of the Holy Spirit. I have listened to many of Dr Missler commentaries and they helped me so much. Thank you so much Dr. Chuck Missler.

Thank you Father for Chuck and Christ's whole body

I'm so grateful for Chuck and his wife Nancy, and I'm so glad to be in the body of Christ! As believers in Christ, we all need eachother. I'm certain that there are things in Chuck's teaching that I could never have reached on my own, but as Jesus said, the Holy Spirit is leading me into all truth. I'm so excited for you to listen to Acts and keep studying the word as God leads you! Keep renewing your mind with the washing of the water of the word! We need you! We need eachother🙂
