About this listen

I’ve spent more years than I care to admit crushing hard on Colton Montgomery. The blond, blue-eyed hottie leaves a trail of broken hearts in his wake wherever he goes...mine being one of them.

Just when I’d decided to cut my losses and move on, he appeared out of nowhere and swept me off my feet. It had all seemed like a fairy tale until he dumped me.

Through text message, no less. Ouch.

Eighteen months and one study abroad program later, I’ve returned to Wesley University to finish out my senior year. And Colton? He’s nothing more than a regrettable mistake I’d prefer to forget. Or so I tell myself.

It only takes one run-in to realize that my feelings for him aren’t as dead and buried as I’d thought. Nope, they’re still there, simmering dangerously beneath the surface. He wants a second chance to make things right. That’s not going to happen. But Colton has other ideas. And part of me is afraid that if he actually puts his mind to it, he’ll end up changing mine.

Contains strong language and sexual situations intended for mature listeners.

It’s not bad because of what it is, it’s just sad

I hate that the female character is so weak when a man was so awful to her. He was never kind to her except when he thought he might lose her on going admiration. And even though I know he had his motives for the breakup but what he did and said was beyond cruel and degrading. And you expect me to believe the strong proud woman you’re trying to sell me would just forget that and give in to him because he’s cute??? No way….while the narrators are wonderful the material is a little sad. Obviously it’s a HEA and I love love like the rest but, don’t sell me a lead role who is a strong willed independent type and have her be weak. Just make a weak character.

Loved this

Well, this is what a good story should be like. The first one in the series was amazing. Now, listening to this one, the only thing that I wished I had out of this was at the very end I wish there was another book of the series.
