On Mars, Jason had stumbled across the escape pod to a 3,500-year-old derelict spacecraft. The AI for the ship then informed Jason that due to him having some traces of alien DNA, he was now the Captain of a massive alien Starship. That 'should' have been good news. Except that most of the Mars and Earth government agencies had different ideas about the alien ship. And the ships AI, having been derelict for centuries... It now has some issues... But the real problem was that Jason's DNA had an additional trait that shouldn't be there... The last time anyone had one of the forbidden DNA ...

Brown Terror or Hero?
The book is definitely different. I enjoyed this book. It has a lot of new concepts and I do enjoy the MC in this book. Even the side characters are very interesting. He fights for pretty much everything, I love how they are rewarded when they are successful. I am very anxious to see how the next book is going to play out because he defeated the odds. All I can really say is this book is a must read and you will only want more. The Bear Totem is Dope and I like him. It is hard not to give anything away in this review so I will end it here. Maybe next time I will give more in a review, but for now if you like the series and how it is unique then you will continue to be pleased by reading this book
