I wasn’t surprised when my grandma promised me she’d contact me from the afterlife. Born during the Progressive Era in Greenwich Village, Gram was one enlightened lady.
Believing in psychic abilities and life after death became a test of faith for me during a very dark time. Longing for a spiritual connection to her and to something deeper and more profound in my life, grieving and soul-searching took me to unexpected places. a touching story about love and belief
Much of this story rings familiar to me as I am from the same areas described in the book. The author does a great job explaining feelings and thoughts of love, admiration, and reincarnation or signals that passed loved ones whether it be family, friends, or pets.
There are signs everywhere to help maintain and remind us of that love.
