Our Mutual Friend: Dickens' last novel, it is a sophisticated novel with a rare combination of social insight and psychological analysis.

Little Dorrit: following the life of Little Dorrit, the novel shines a light on the society and the government of the period and is a great work of satire.

Dombey and Son: a sprawling story following the complex relationship between shipping firm owner Paul Dombey and his daughter, Florence.

A Christmas Carol: Dickens' classic and sentimental novel about the ghosts of Christmas who help an old Scrooge find salvation. This story is credited with reviving the practice of celebrating Christmas, which had fallen into disuse in England, and has also spawned countless movie and television adaptations and rip-offs.

The language stands out for me.

I have always wanted to dig into Dickens, I am very charmed so far. Hurrah!

Wonderful

Wonderful stories, and mostly very well read. I had a problem with playback in that Our Mutual.. would sometimes jump into the middle of A Tale... but on anvice of Audible chat, I reinstalled the app, and it's fine, even though I am no longer a subscriber. Also. BTW, it is possible to see which chapter each book starts on by viewing the accompanying pdf

No book headings

There is no way to tell what book you are looking at in chapter headings. Everything else is great. Readers and books. Just difficult to navigate to specific book.

Chapter switch in Great Expectations

Warning when listening to Great Expectations: Chapter 43 in the audiobook contains the audio for Chapter 44 while Chapter 44 in the audiobook contains the audio for Chapter 43.

A chrismas carol

wonderful story's and great voice acting! The man doing the reading really is perfect for this collection of story's!

Excellent

I was thrilled to get all these novels for only 1 credit. And the reader’s performance is wonderful using a different voice and accent for each character making it easy to picture the various scenarios. Cannot wait to find another author’s collection!

Rough Experience

Chapters 43 and 44 of Great Expectations are mixed up

Chapters 43 and 44 of Great Expectations are mixed up. Chapter 44 is actually 43, and vice versa.

As I previously noted, the last chapter of Bleak House is also out of order with its proper place in the book.

Waste of a credit

Narration is better with the female than the male narrator. However both are lacking in sound quality like a vintage audiobook.
