Editorial reviews

Gwyn's newfound magic is put to the test in this fast-paced conclusion to Jenny Nimmo's award-winning fantasy trilogy. John Keating's lilting accent lends an enchanting authenticity to the hills and villagers of the Welsh countryside and perfectly complements the dreamlike quality of the author's delicate prose.

Now teenagers, Gwyn and Nia must not only grapple with the dark soul of prince Efnisien, but the subjects of friendship, family, and the burdens that come with inherited ancestral powers in an adventure that blends the trials of modern life with those of fabled lore.

Excellent Conclusion

All the ladies drooling over Evan was pretty funny. Nia's loyalty to Evan was sweet and endearing. Everyone needs to be believed in.
