People often contact a dog trainer, thinking that hiring them will fix all of their puppy's problems. This thinking will usually make things worse because the focus is on fixing the puppy's behavior instead of teaching the puppy what you want them to do.
With positive reinforcement reward-based training, the puppy will thrive and excel in doing the things you want them to do instead of constantly trying to fix their bad behaviors.
Puppy training requires a total commitment from the puppy's owners, daily obedience training practice, and a plan of action to produce results. Moving from one behavior issue to another without leadership and structure will not work. The results come over time, in small increments, so patience is needed when raising a new puppy.
In this book, you will learn:
- How to create a puppy schedule
- Potty training and crate training techniques.
- Basic obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, and come.
- How to stop unwanted behaviors such as jumping and play biting.
- The importance of puppy socialization.
- How to develop good leash manners on walks.
- How to build leadership and trust with your puppy.
My goal is to help make living with your puppy easy and stress-free. In addition, I teach you how to develop a balanced, grounded, and centered puppy using force-free methods. The training is not complete when you have finished this book...that is just the beginning. Dog training is a lifelong process, implemented daily. Regular and consistent practice adds to a well-behaved and obedient puppy.

This book is just amazing and help me to put in place a lot of things with my 3 months old puppy that helps a lot daily. I recommend it to each dog owner even if you had a dog before. It covers all the topics we need to know and I've learned a lot of things.
