Basically a biography of a terrorist.
Initially this book points out the way that intelligence agencies have a tendency to all blend together. American money supporting multiple groups that overtime may align themselves against American interests thereby making previous allies enemies. The book wraps itself up by going into tremendous detail about torture and the treatment of the detainees at Guantanamo Bay for example. Whether the main subject of this book ever gets set free or not is not for me to say but regardless I'm certain he is not without guilt in all this.
