unexpectedly deep

I can't say how happy I am that Elle has come back to Briar with the second generation. I always know these stories are gonna have me entertained but this hit me right in the feels! Awesome listen! Hope there are many more stories coming in this world.

Don’t like the male narrator

I enjoyed this book and the storyline. I wish I had read it instead of bought the audio. The female narrator was great but I didn’t like the male narrator. His voice really grated on me and he didn’t sound like the character.

Great book male narrator awful

I love Elle Kennedy books and she is an auto buy author for me. Erin Mallon had to carry this book because the male narrator tried to seductively whisper through the whole book. I almost DNF it just because of him.

Wow wow wow!

Okay, seriously…this book was perfect! The perfect balance of humor, drama, spice, and sweet romance. I went on a roller coaster ride of emotions which I was not at all expecting. I could not contain my laughter at the hilarity of Diana and Shane. Next thing you know I’m sobbing for at least 20 minutes straight. I really loved The Graham Effect and I thought I would enjoy this book because Shane and Diana were very likable and funny in that book. But I was stunned by the depth and how much I enjoyed it.

My only criticism would be the male narrator. I didn’t love him and it took me a while to get used to him. He wasn’t horrible but also not great. The female narrator smashed it! Perfect 10!

Lastly, the teaser for Will and Beckett’s book was sooo good! I cannot freaking wait!

What a great book

This is a great book. I really enjoyed it. The narration is fantastic Erin Mallon is such I amazing narrator.

I liked this one. A few storylines I could have lived without, but I still liked it.
