But she has a ring that really is magical. It can make the wearer invisible and grant wishes. It’s not long before the four friends are surrounded by strange and wonderful things.
E. Nesbit, born in 1858, was an unconventional woman whose home was a center for writers and artists, including George Bernard Shaw and H.G. Wells. When she was asked to try her hand at children’s stories, she created a series of books that combined fantasy and memories of her own childhood. First published in 1907, The Enchanted Castle is a timeless story of friendship and magic.

An endearing classic
Another endearing children’s fantasy by a woman who obviously knows what children like. You can’t go wrong with Edith Nesbit and most of her books are in the public domain so you can get the free ebook at Amazon and add the whispersync narration. Great deal.

We love E. Nesbit!
We have read\listened to several of E. New it's books and this one just as delightful as the others. It did seem to drag on though, adding extra adventures/experiences that didn't really add to the plot.

✨WONDERFUL✨
This book is truly a work of art. I adored listening to it, and found the adventure, very immersive. Great for ages seven and up. I completely recommend listening to this book. it is so worth it.💗

Boring story with no character development. HORRIBLE narrator. Don't waste your time with this book.
