Raising children is not an easy task. It might be easier if they arrived with a manual of instructions, but they don't. It doesn't always get easier as they get older either. Situations just seem to get more complex. If you're looking at this audiobook, then you're making the effort to try and understand your teenager (or pre-teen) a little better.

What a Relief
I listened to this audiobook at a stressful time in my life, dealing with a sullen and angry 14-year-old grandson. Hearing that this metamorphosis from adoring child into a pimply faced monster shooting me dagger eyes is somewhat "normal", I was able to take a deep breath and rethink my approach. I sure do miss that little 5-year-old boy who wanted to marry me when he grew up! Ha!
