a great story narrated so well I felt every moment
amazing book! taking a genre I love and filling it with complexities to make it new again. told so amazingly I got tingles, held my breath, and even teared up at times. may not be for everyone but I would be damned if I didn't recommend it to everyone I meet

love this book. excellent series. have all of them in paperback and working on getting all on audio. this is my 5th time finishing this book. 4 times through all 14 1st time through audio.

Love these books.
Its been over 15 years since i first read them, and i gotta say i still love em. better as audio books in some ways, but i do seem to miss out on certain details at my mind wanders, so i may follow the text for book 2

A timeless classic
I like that they had a male narrator for the men and a female for the women. A good variety of voices and enough inflection to keep the whole thing interesting.
