An ending I didn't see coming!
Kayla and Jesse make it back from the other side, but they aren't the only ones. Something is really wrong in the pack and Kayla is the only one that can fix it. Will Nick stay until it's over for good or is this the end? This one will keep you guessing.

Great ending of Kayla’s journey. You have to read/listen to the prior books in order to understand the whole story.

Okay listen
This story was okay. This was the third book in the series and I do recommend reading/listening to the previous ones prior to this one. Things will probably make a little more sense. Kayla and Mate are doing well together but things go sideways quickly. There is a spirit on the loose possessing people and making them do things they wouldn’t otherwise do. Kayla has to figure out how to keep herself safe so that she can figure out what the spirit is after and how to stop it. There are some twists and turns in this story and it had a lot of potential. There were some things within the writing that pulled me out of the story at times but nothing too bad that made it so I couldn’t finish the story. There was enough potential and interesting parts to the stories that I stuck with the series and listened to all of them. Some things were just a little too over the top which kept me from engaging fully with the characters and story. Also some of the solutions that happened just weren’t explained fully and we went from a complex issue with no idea how to solve it to what felt a little like “ta da, problem solved”. With all of that being said, it wasn’t a bad story. They are short and it was interesting with a bit of a different take on it. It did hold my attention through the book.

This set of 3 books all center around Kayla.
She is the true alpha of this small mountain pack. She doesn't want that power, but something wants her to have it.
Something has possessed her and the acting chief. What is it and how do they stop it.
Nice ending to this series.
