About this listen

Destiny awaits…whether you’re ready for it or not.

Bucky Drake literally just got his managerial position at McDaniel’s, but he’s already been promoted to "Hero" whether or not he's interested in the job. Dragged against his will through a yawning purple vortex by a mouthy catgirl, he finds himself in another world full of vivid colors—and peerless beauties. Cowgirls, lamias, satyresses, unicorns, and even elves of all colors of the rainbow make his acquaintance early and often...and he handles them pretty darn well for a random fast food worker in over his head.

That's the way things are going to be from now on. On Lusteria, the population is largely female and made up of monster women and elves. There is the odd transmigrated human here and there, but Bucky is special. He’s been chosen.

But chosen for what?

The three Dark Queens must be defeated. Bucky isn’t totally sold on the idea, though, not just yet. For now, he’s satisfied to just enjoy the simple life in Tater Town, the small, dumbly-named village he’s grown to call home.

He’ll get around to being a hero…eventually.

I love it

I love it and want a lot more just like this. A man that is happy with his new situation and doesn’t over think every little thing.

Just Awesome

The voice acting is top notch, they put feeling and emotion when the situation calls for it, you can feel the tension in there voices

the story does not have an unstoppable killing machine as an MC he get wounded and you see how that affects those around him, he takes stupid risk and doe stupid things, and those around him point it out to him and he adjusts to there advise well sometimes. it makes for a better story when you really do not know how it is going to turn out.

Rainbow Sprinkles is my all time fave, just listen you will see why.

can not wait for book 2

KNIGHTLEY STRIKES AGAIN!

IN ALL FAIRNESS, VIRGIL NORMALLY DOES GREAT WORK, BUT THIS ONE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. JONATHAN & AURORA DID A GREAT JOB BRINGING THE CHARACTERS TO LIFE. SOMEONE TELL VIRGIL TO START ON THE SEQUEL!

half assed

The set up for this book was good, but the execution was lacking. The language was good, and some of the characters had fun personality. The mc had amazing options to be a robust and dynamic hero, but chose mundane and redundant mates that left his skill set boring, or even embarrassing. A hero who turns into a cow or a unicorn is horrible. In the end, the author's commitment to slice of life made the parts that were action fall short. Finally, there was all the waisted effort on breeding. I get that some people are into that, but it came at the expense of the story in this case. No man wants to be coerced into having dozens of children against their will. For a men's fantasy book, this aspect made it closer to a men's nightmare.

Fantastic start to a series.

Virgil’s books keep getting better and better. If you’re a fan of the genre, this has pretty much everything. Perfect blend of smut, wholesomeness, and humor. Narrators both did a fantastic job as well. Eagerly awaiting the next entry.

It's an ok story. nice mix of adventure and adult entertainment.

The story of pretty average as far as LitRPG books go. nothing really that unique, but it's also not bad in anyway.
As for the adult content, it is kind of an odd mix where some taboo kinks are openly displayed (like hardcore S&M stuff with cutting and blood) but it is also VERY careful not to even hint at incest, going so far as to have a warning at the start of the book telling you that the two characters that call each other sister are not actually related by blood, even though they are described as looking very similar. it's almost as if it was written that they actually were real sisters and then rather than re-write the book, they just added a forward that's tells you they aren't. Also there is a magic "ritual" in the book where the guy has to cum in all 3 of a girls holes, and they make it a point on several occasions to say the the order doesn't matter and it can be in ANY hole first, and then it's always in the same order of mouth, pussy, ass every single time.

What a fantastic book!!!

The MC was a very likable character. Th FC’s had depth and were alluring. Then you meet Sprinkle the Unicom girl. Her mental instability to put it nicely and her sexual fetish well…. You’ll see!!! Had me rolling around laughing my ass off. What a freaking hell of a good time this book was. With drama comedy and awesome spicy parts. Definitely listen to this book. Can’t wait for book 2. Keep up the amazing writing Virgil.
Lastly the narrators were perfect
