Excellent story and narration!

I loved everything about this story! It was so well written, and so well narrated, that I had a hard time taking a break from it. I will be looking for more of Robyn’s books.

A sweet story-one of my favorites, to date!

Of course…Robyn Carr does it again. A great story: new characters that I completely fell in love with…and a wonderfully sweet story of connection, family, friends and purpose. I really enjoyed this listen and ALWAYS look forward to ANY book by Carr. But the REAL star of the whole show is the narrator—Therese Plummer! This gal is a powerhouse with a sorcery-level of alluring voice narration. This is probably the BEST performance of hers I have listened to. She brings each character to life, adding unique quirks and inflections that make you “feel” like you really KNOW the person. Therese—you are a gift to audiobook listeners and my #1 Favorite voice actor!!! Thank you!

The Ending stood out the most

Loved how the relationships grew and developed. Several love stories wrapped up in one book. And Therese Plummer is my favorite narrator. I was sorry it ended.

Happily Ever After

It had a good storyline and it also touched on spouse abuse and relationship abuse (boyfriend and girlfriend).

Fabulous cast

As always, wonderful narration from Therese Plummer. And great character writing. Lovely story.
The ending was at super high speed. Maybe another hour to the audio version to expand all the story line endings..... But overall, very sweet.

Independent women

I liked the women supporting women and the independent personalities. I liked the slow blossoming romantic relationships.

Good review of teen dating abuse

RC told a good story about nice people and a few who weren’t. Looked at relationships with an eye to unhealthy concepts like enabling, gaslighting, and early abuse conditioning. She did an admirable job with the healthy relationships and the unhealthy. The love scenes were few but more detailed than I remember previous stories…. Wonder if it was necessary as it precludes young teens from reading the subtleties of relationship abuse conditioning in my view.

Audible seems to be forcing me to leave a review

Classic robin car and narrator. Pretty good story, Mark sounded like kind of a jerk (dismissing the fact Ellen didn’t like the fact he had the radio on when they had a private conversation, among other things). I must’ve missed the part about how long Sophia has been in the United States? Most children do not maintain a thick Latina accent, after being in the United States 20 years with a white dad.
