I like it better than the first even and I normally never say that I wasn’t sure about the first one but it wasn’t bad it was just a little dry

Nice story, not bad.

The greek myths and cultivation really come together in this book. Mc is still doing a bunch of leveling and tests to pass their version of the olympics and im interested in finding out more of the story in the next book.

great addition to the series

man this book build so great after the 1st .the world building is A plus with the mix of cultivation and Greek mythology works so well.... ends on a cliff hanger too 11 outta 10

My favorite part was the ending

That wasn't a joke or shit talk the ending was so AMAZING I wish book 3 was here already the story has been good but the last chapter had so much tea it was like water in the ocean

Great Continuation

I really enjoyed Book 1 of this series and was excited to dive into The Games of Olympus! This installment continues to deliver an engaging story with strong worldbuilding and an intriguing plot. The action and progression keep things moving at a great pace, making for an enjoyable read.

That said, I’m not a huge fan of the “bro”-sounding characters—it takes away from the immersion a bit. While it’s a minor gripe, it does make certain interactions feel less compelling.

Still, I had a great time with this book and truly hope we get the rest of the series to see the story through to its conclusion. I’m looking forward to what comes next!

can't stand books like this

the main character is a simp who believes in the power of friendship, don't bother.

the MC is a master yapper

the entire time I wanted the story to progress so badly,but the damned protagonist just kept yapping. he just keeps reiterating everything that happens. then he talks himself through every step of every decision he makes. just yap yap yap, ad-freaking-nauseum.

MC has a lot of inner dialogue.

Spoiler alert! MC ask a lot of stupid questions and also think’s about running away before every fight.

so. much. monologuing.

I'm tempted to write a review that is satire of the monologuing and lengthy explanations we get for every scene in this book, but I am so over it. love some of the concepts and plots, but poorly executed/edited.

I saw character growth and had hope….

So during the previous book our mc bill rushed a monster a tier above him without fear, but this book our fearless mc spends the first two chapters crying and whining because a friendly tamed beast that was a tier below him had his sword, but he was too much of a pansy to grab it, because it was creepy. Then has the full blown knowledge that a MAJOR enemy is at its weakest point, has just killed someone who was very kind and generous to the mc, nearly killed the emperor that has sponsored and protected and shown him trust, but has to wait for the system to give him a quest before he even shows interest in attacking the enemy. When he finally confronts said enemy, he makes the realization that talismans don’t work, watches swords work on her repeatedly, and then just ignored that realization and wasted hours watching as Heracles kept doing something he knows won’t work, then she just magically gets away. I mean honestly you can’t believe you can write a book about someone becoming a god, and make that someone the most incompetent and cowardly person in the entire story, and expect it to be readable. Not sure if you’re aware, but if I read a story following an individual, I don’t want that individual to be the only person in the entire story I actually want to die. Within the same chapter the enemy that is repeatedly killing his friends gets away, he monologues for the 900th time this chapter about how he regrets being a coward, then pushes that regret away even though that cowardice got a friend killed. You writing a book involving myths and legends and make them worship and praise your mc, when your mc is the least impressive individual in your book is pretty pathetic….
