Preview:
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins was a smash hit when it was published in 2015 by Penguin Books. A narrator describes a burial site by train tracks, marked with only a tiny pile of stones. The narrator states there isn't much to mark the grave, but they didn't want to leave it without remembrance. An unnamed narrator. They are losing consciousness, confused. Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

The narrator isn't the greatest, analysis shallow.
The summary is good but the narrator is monotone except for a vague accent or impediment of some type. The analysis is very short and superficial. I wish it had answered the questions included. Could be an OK study tool start.
