When Chloe Smart was five years old, she received a letter from Blonkey, a small, green, china donkey, who introduced her to a magical world of fairy gardens, winter palaces and Christmas enchantment. As the weeks passed, Chloe encountered several other curious creatures, who also sent her letters and entertained her with details of their lives and squabbles. When intruders threatened to take over Chloe's special Fairy Garden and Winter Palace, her new-found friends came together in the most unusual of ways to defeat the miscreants. This is the story of what took place.
