About this listen

My brother's best friend is the biggest player on campus—both on the basketball court and between the sheets.

Not that I can blame the swarm of girls that worship Knight Jackson's size fourteen sneaker-covered feet. I've been in love with him for as long as I can remember. He's been breaking my heart for just as long.

While I'd been busy memorizing every detail about him, he'd never seen me as anything other than Pace's younger brother. It wasn't smart to crush on a straight guy in the first place, so now that I'm in college, I'm ready to move on. The problem is I'm clueless when it comes to dating.

A brilliant idea occurs to me when I've had one too many shots of tequila. I may not know what I'm doing, but Knight does. And he owes me for the years I spent pining for him, right? Right.

So I text the heartbreaker, asking for help. I never expected him to agree.

And I definitely never expected him to offer to give me lessons on how to drive a guy crazy in bed.

Contains mature themes.

Good story but went so fast

It was a good story (once again) but the story line went too fast. When you meet that special one it can be fast paced. Great job Iggy !!

Sweet story

Just as good as book one. a sweet Brothers best friend sports college romance. well written by Baylin Crow. as always Iggy Toma delivers a great narration. he has a smooth way of giving all of these characters personality and individual voices. great book, great series.

A Decent Story Made Better By Awesome Narration

This was a fine book. I did love the concept of it and it did have some cute moments throughout. It had a lot of potential but it honestly felt too short but not in the leave them wanting more way but in it missed moments, like it skipped over important beats to convey the connection between Knight and Owen, especially from Knight’s POV. His chapters seemed shorter and less frequent so him being all in and being in love with Owen so suddenly, though sweet and totally on par with a romance book, it felt like we missed him coming to these conclusions. Besides that there were pacing issues imo, it started off slow and then when we finally got to them acting out their attraction the book was pretty much over. In comparison to the first book of the series it didn’t hold up as well. I will say the narration by Iggy Tomas was great and honestly really brought a depth to this book that wasn’t in the writing. Overall it was just okay, not bad, but didn’t quite meet my expectations.

❤️

This was an overall good book. It has the pacing of a movie rather than a book. I wish the relationship had more development and the ending wasn’t so abrupt. But it was still an enjoyable quick listen.

Good

The story was short and sweet, but this might be the last book I read by the author. This is the second book in a row one of her heroes kept saying the other was straight even after they had sex. Not only would that never happen, it also makes no sense. Especially during the other guys love/like confession. Most of all, they wouldn’t keep saying the other guy is straight when the other guy has already admitted to not being as straight as everyone thought.

“You were trying to help me find a boyfriend, why would I think it’s anything else?” Maybe because Knight did absolutely nothing the night before to make you think that, Owen. Maybe because Knight flat out said that he wanted a lot more. A surprise meeting with an older brother shouldn’t be enough to make him forget that.

On a better note, I thought the argument between Knight and his best friend was believable. I was expecting a huge blow up because the older brother won’t listen to reason and was pleasantly surprised when it never came. Knight’s reasonable thinking in general was a nice change of pace. How did worry about what other’s think, mainly his best friend and the older brother of the Owen, because he knew it wasn’t anyone else’s

Good story with good narration

the story was a little too fast for me, it could have been great . Who knew I would wish for a little more angst ? Not me 🤣 it's a good story but I'm glad I got in on sale and didn't use a credit
