May 6, 2021 | The Hockey Betting Podcast Our "knuckle-dragging Neanderthals" open the show with rave reviews of the Rangers-Capitals 3-fight opening draw on the May 6, 2021 episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Brian Blessing and Cam Stewart discuss the relevant purpose of fighting in the NHL, how it differs from dirty play, and how fighting keeps dirty play in check. Betting favorites becomes a shaky play as the end of regular season quickly approaches, and new betting angles come in to play as teams prepare for the playoffs or vacations. Listen to this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast for all of Brian and Cam's hockey handicapping, NHL insights, and free picks. Thursday, May 6, 2021 NHL Betting Lines, Analysis, Picks New Jersey Devils at New York Islanders Can anyone trust the New York Islanders after what happened in Buffalo? Somebody sure does, with the Isles' moneyline actually thinning beyond a consensus (-240) at various NHL betting books. New York Rangers at Boston Bruins The New York Rangers have played their way out of Stanley Cup contention, and oddsmakers predict the Bruins to ambush the Rangers. Boston Bruins (-1.5) stands at (Even) odds for a faceoff with a steady (5.5) O/U total. Buffalo Sabres at Pittsburgh Penguins A rising O/U total (6) highlights a game for which gamblers are not biting on Buffalo after watching the Sabres earn two fat money line wins against the Isles. Pittsburgh's line to win has swelled to (-350) with early shifting. Chicago Blackhawks at Carolina Hurricanes The (6) goal total is falling for Thursday's faceoff in Raleigh, but that doesn't mean bookmakers don't think the Hurricanes (-310) will dismiss the eliminated Chicago Blackhawks. Montreal Canadiens at Toronto Maple Leafs Finally, an NHL underdog's recent handiwork shines through on the hockey odds board, as bettors pass on the Montreal Canadiens (+190) following the Habs' latest debacle in Ottawa. Vancouver Canucks at Edmonton Oilers With the Vancouver Canucks preparing to walk the plank for the dumbest series of NHL games ever, the solid Edmonton Oilers are a (-260) money line favourite to win and keep the pressure on North Division-leading Toronto. Friday, May 7, 2021 NHL Betting Lines, Analysis, Picks Detroit Red Wings at Columbus Blue Jackets National-team scouts will be thick in an otherwise restricted Friday crowd in Ohio. It might not be a barrel of laughs for the laptop brigade, with a Columbus vs Detroit O/U total reaching Dante's barrel-bottom at (5) goals. Philadelphia Flyers at Washington Capitals Washington Capitals money lines of (-195) are strangely steady for a club that's still three losses away from potentially finishing fourth in the East Division. Perhaps NHL bettors are more focused on the Caps' (-1.5) puck line, or on a shrinking (6) goal total. Dallas Stars at Tampa Bay Lightning Most handicappers would agree the Dallas Stars are desperate compared to Tampa Bay (-165), but effort can only take a team so far on its own. Five games of lost and dropped points brings the Stars to a must-win scenario in Florida. Anaheim Ducks at Minnesota Wild Minnesota has surprisingly lost two in a row at home. Is it time for the guys to hold up a stop sign on another heavily-juiced (-275) favourites' market against the dead-in-the-water Anaheim Ducks? Or will Cam and Brian argue for a parlay-play on a team that's bound to rebound? St. Louis Blues at Vegas Golden Knights The St. Louis Blues are surging to the finish line and outplaying common opponents of the Vegas Golden Knights (-165), but the public still likes Friday's host to prevail straight-up. Colorado Avalanche at Los Angeles Kings NHL speculators are less enthused about Colorado's puck line (+100) on Friday, even against the L.A. Kings, who checkmated themselves out of a Stanley Cup bid with another slump late in the season. Arizona Coyotes at San Jose Sharks The Arizona Coyotes will play their final two games of the year in San Jose. With no hope of a playoff bid, will the Coyotes go through the motions, or play loose and easy pond hockey to help cover a (5.5) total? Saturday, May 8, 2021 NHL Betting Lines, Analysis, Picks New York Rangers at Boston Bruins Buffalo Sabres at Pittsburgh Penguins Ottawa Senators at Winnipeg Jets New Jersey Devils at New York Islanders Philadelphia Flyers at Washington Capitals Tampa Bay Lightning at Florida Panthers Detroit Red Wings at Columbus Blue Jackets Montreal Canadiens at Toronto Maple Leafs Carolina Hurricanes at Nashville Predators Anaheim Ducks at Minnesota Wild St. Louis Blues at Vegas Golden Knights Colorado Avalanche at Los Angeles Kings Vancouver Canucks at Edmonton Oilers Arizona Coyotes at San Jose Sharks Sunday, May 9, 2021 NHL Betting Lines, Analysis, Picks Dallas Stars at Chicago Blackhawks Ottawa Senators at Calgary Flames Monday, May 10, 2021 NHL Betting Lines,...

    May 3 2021
May 3, 2021 | The Hockey Betting Podcast The NHL regular season comes down the home stretch as teams jockey for final playoff positions on the May 3, 2021 episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Ask your doctor if The Hockey Betting Podcast is right for you. Brian Blessing and Cam Stewart take a look at the NHL schedule as teams that are out of contention loosen up as they prepare for summer vacation, and teams that are gearing up for their run at the Stanley Cup tighten their games. Listen to this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast for all of Brian and Cam's NHL insights, picks predictions, and hockey betting humour. Monday, May 3, 2021 NHL Betting Lines, Analysis, Picks New York Islanders at Buffalo Sabres The New York Islanders' slump is officially over, and so were the Buffalo Sabres (+250) hopes to reach the Stanley Cup playoffs as of months ago. The guys have a quick take on this match-up. Hear the conversation on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Pittsburgh Penguins at Philadelphia Flyers Philly's postseason chances are Three Stooges-esque, a.k.a. Nil, Null, and Void at 15 points behind Boston in the East Division. Still, sportsbooks aren't ready to give up on the Flyers (+140) on the daily just yet, at least not with the Pittsburgh Penguins busy greasing playoff wheels and unruffled by dull periods. Listen to this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast for all of Brian and Cam's betting strategies, predictions, and free picks. Chicago Blackhawks at Carolina Hurricanes The Chicago Blackhawks might be the more desperate club, but the Central Division-leading Carolina Hurricanes have the superior lineup and a (+100) puck line for a Monday faceoff with a (6) goal total. Hear the guys discuss their thoughts on this NHL game on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Washington Capitals at New York Rangers An NHL game characterized by a falling (6) O/U goal total pairs a talented Washington Capitals lineup against the hosting New York Rangers, who must win on Monday or give up the ghost. Hear the details on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Nashville Predators at Columbus Blue Jackets Can a team be disrespected despite a thin money line? Nashville Predators are solid road favourites at (-175) in Columbus, yet Roman Josi's long-term production from the blue line isn't doing much to inspire short-term betting as the O/U total shrinks to a tiny (5) goals. Hear the guys discuss their betting angles on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Boston Bruins at New Jersey Devils Home ice isn't expected to help New Jersey against the red-hot Boston Bruins (-230), who could mathematically eliminate the New York Rangers in the East Division before meeting the Broadway Blueshirts again on May 6th. Listen to this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast for Brian and Cam's conversation on this NHL match-up. Winnipeg Jets at Ottawa Senators Reports that the Ottawa Senators intend to play spoiler in their final five games are helping the Sens to noble (+135) odds to beat the visiting Winnipeg Jets on Monday night, while making NHL gamblers shy of an initial (6.5) total. Hear the guys hash out their picks on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Montreal Canadiens at Toronto Maple Leafs The Toronto Maple Leafs are proving a popular ML pick at (-145) odds and shrinking vs Montreal. Will the professional pundits of The Hockey Betting Podcast go with the public or give the Canadiens' plus-odds a look? Hear the guys debate their positions on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Dallas Stars at Florida Panthers The Florida Panthers (-145) have outplayed the Dallas Stars in a handful of multi-date meetings, but Monday evening's contest is a one-off to bring the 2020-21 regular season series to an end. Hear the guys discuss how they plan to play this NHL match-up on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Anaheim Ducks at St. Louis Blues With the St. Louis Blues a heavy (-260) favourite, Tthe guys look at three different angles to swing at - a parlay, a puck line, or the goal total of (5.5), the latter of which stands as cautious considering STL's attack vs Minnesota. Hear the discussion on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Vegas Golden Knights at Minnesota Wild A clash of titans in St. Paul carries an O/U line of (5.5), but only out of respect for the goaltending on each roster. Besides, no one's been able to move a money line that's solidly juiced for the Vegas Golden Knights at (-125). Listen to this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast for the details. Los Angeles Kings at Arizona Coyotes Arizona may have just played its way into the playoff hunt. It's just not inspiring NHL bettors to pick the Coyotes (-140) due to apprehension that the Vegas series is a mirage. Hear the guys debate this NHL match-up on this episode of The Hockey Betting Podcast. Colorado Avalanche at San Jose Sharks The...

All killer, no filler - this podcast is on point

Kudos to Brian Blessing and Cam Stewart! For people who don't have all the time in the world to listen to a podcast --> you don't have to listen for an hour of BS and wade deep into the podcast before getting to the information you actually want. Brian and Cam know their NHL betting and get to the point right away with their information and picks. And if they don't see a play, they pass - as experienced bettors know to do. These guys are not selling their picks; they're sharing their point of view and betting tips - and giving out a lot of good winners along the way. A lot of other betting podcasts have their talking heads with all their stats and trends and fluff and filler. These guys are seasoned NHL bettors AND long-time sports broadcasters: they do the episodes quickly and get to the heart of why they are thinking what they're thinking about the games coming up on the NHL schedule. If you don't have a lot of time to listen to podcasts and you want to get to the betting information, The Hockey Betting Podcast will get it done for you - and fast.
