Publisher's summary

Fifty years ago, the Immortal Waiter defeated a threat that was bent on ruling the galaxy. A threat that would have succeeded if not for the Waiter, Helen, and new friends. This threat was created by Creation itself. The defeat of this threat has forced Creation to take matters into its own hands. It now intends to destroy the Waiter, thus bringing the universe back to absolute quiet. If Its plans fail, it has planted the seed that it knows will disrupt the Waiter’s efforts and allow its own plans for the elimination of everything to succeed. The seed for this plan was planted almost two thousand years ago. A seed that Creation is sure will destroy the Waiter’s efforts, if not the Waiter himself.
While the Waiter defends himself against Creation, The Quiet Everything, Creation has seen to it that the Waiter’s defender, Helen, is occupied elsewhere. A galactic force is headed to the Milky Way. Its size assures Helen that its intent is not for the good of mankind. Unable to locate the Waiter, Helen must face this threat without the Waiter. But she has her own resources and unique allies. Unconcerned by the magnitude of the threat, she is confident in her prowess for war and her ability to defeat this threat. Her friends and allies are not as confident.
As the Waiter fights for his survival, Helen must use everything she is capable of to fend off this galactic threat. Neither can afford to fail. But their current battles are only the beginning.
As a last resort, the Waiter, Helen, and all those that could pose a threat to the Quiet Everything are brought together on a small planet. As all concerned arrive, they look around. Standing there are beings that span two thousand years. From Lancelot and Galahad to sentient AI, to various aliens. None in that group is meant to survive. Their destruction is imminent unless the Waiter can fight his person demons and bring this group together. But, bringing this group together means sharing secrets that were not meant to be shared, at least not with this group.
As their destruction closes in on them, the Waiter’s AI friend must convince the Waiter to fight his personal demons and take control of the situation. With seconds left, the fate of everything is on the shoulders of the Waiter.
