Three fun adventure stories with an impulsive heroine
The Jane Barnaby adventure box set includes three delightful stories with the adventure seeking girl who acts impulsively on the spur of the moment and always seems to find trouble as a result. Whether chasing jewel thieves or trying to save her best friend from a mistake of a marriage, there is no leap to large for the girl to take. The stories are sometimes silly and often improbable but always fun.
The narrator does a great job with bringing the books to life, but she does have some trouble with her accents, particularly her Russian spy who sometimes sounds Irish.
I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Our heroine doesn't know when to quit
This is the collection of the first three books in an adventure series featuring a young American college girl going to school in England. Right now there are only three, but I remain hopeful there will be more.
I loved this series and the characters in it. They are well developed, with enough backstory and foibles to make them real. Our heroine is tough, resourceful and smart, just the way I like them. Of course, she is also quick to jump into action and rather stubborn, so once she gets started, stay out of her way.
The stories are well written with solid plots and lots of twists and turns along the way to keep you guessing. Each chapter is also told from two perspectives, the main section by our heroine and each chapter closes with the perspective of her sidekick (who changes with each book). The overall result is that each book is different, yet all are fun reads which should keep you entertained right up to the end. Like I mentioned earlier, I hope the series continues into more adventures.
As an audio book, I should also mentioned that the narrations are excellent, clear and well paced, making them pleasures to listen to.
Highly recommended.

Interesting mystery!
Jane Barnaby sets out to do a favor for a professor of hers, and ends up being in the middle of a mystery! She is not overly deep, so I would like for the books to be reworked making Jane more complicated.
