Just okay....

I read so many wonderful reviews on this book and I have to say I was not impressed. I think its because I was unable to connect with the main character early on so it just clouded my judgement the remainder of the book. The pacing was erratic to me as well. I don't think I'll pick up the series if this main character is going to be the sleuth.
