The music

It was very annoying throughout the entire book. Fantastic story and narration! The music just got on my nerves.

I was not totally into it but it was ok story. Towards the middle of the storyline I was more fond to both characters.
The background music was annoying. It would have been better if a male artist did the voice.

The audio made me cry

I never read the book the audio is the first 5-star rating I have ever given for a book or an audio

Music was cheesy but I loved the story

I loved the story. Romantic, sexy and an easy read. Characters were likable and I look forward to reading more from this author.

They both deserve the HEA

Embracing their differences. Wow! Halfway through, I knew this was going to be a five.

Lovely book, obnoxious soundtrack

This is a sweet, hot romance and I throughly enjoyed it and the characters. The narrator was also good, using character voices that weren’t overdone or distracting. What *was* distracting was the nonstop music throughout. It’ll teach not to sample a book before I buy it, or at least read the audible-specific description. I’m sure there are some people who enjoyed the music, but I’m not one of them. I often use my audiobooks to fall asleep to, but the music made it hardly relaxing, particularly because I listen at an increased speed and music never translates well at 2x speed. Perhaps if this soundtrack were optional, it would have made it more enjoyable.
I am hoping subsequent Helen Hoang audiobooks don’t include this feature, or I might have to wait to read them until I’m in the mood to read rather than listen.

There’s background music?

The background music gets annoying at times, makes me wish there was an option to remove it. I didn’t realize before buying it, as I usually don’t sample audiobooks and had already heard one with this narrator.

Story line was good, but

the background music playing through the ENTIRE book is horrible!! Why would you have music playing throughout, very annoying! Could not finish the book.

I love that the female character is autistic.

Great story but a little too much sex detail for me but I loved the book!

One of my favorites

I listened to this audio book on Libby a few years ago and just reread it in 2 days. I love this book so much. There are a few things I'm not a fan of but over all 5/5 loved everything still. such a great book! and it's all on sale for a super good price! (As of June 2024) love the autism representation, I'm not autistic (that I know of) but I am adhd so I relate to Stella a bit but not as extreme.
