A Difficult Read

This book is a compilation of 4 main stories with a couple short stories by different authors interconnecting them. The first story was incredibly slow and the protagonist was way to competent to be remotely believable. I'm not sure why the author selected this genre to write her story in. It seemed better suited for a young adult coming of age story. The other 3 stories were ok. Your typical shtf writing. Unfortunately when it's considered in the whole I can’t recommend this compilation.

Totally unrealistic

The story was written for teenagers that have no idea of what real life is like. The narration is stilted and unexciting. It makes it seem like the end of civilization as we know, it is no big deal. Humans are a lot nastier, and what is written here. Pretty lousy story in general.

Poor narration

Does anyone “proof listen” to these before releasing them? Good lord, the narrator on the second story mispronounces SO MANY things that I had to stop listening. Like - ricocheted pronounced like “rickoshetted” - just… Come on…
