loved this book
this book was so good, the writing and narration drew me in and made me feel everything the characters where feeling. the one thing that was disappointing was that the end was wrapped up too quickly. u invest and travel with Wanda thru all the hard times and when she finally becomes a adult the story skips ahead to the end of her life. I did feel denied all her adult adventures. this book should have been a series

The concept of Florida displaying because of storms. How the weather impacted peoples lives.
Enjoyed how all the lives were woven together. The story has hunted me a bit after finishing it. Well written. It’s a keeper that I will read again.

Intricate character development and nuanced storytelling
This book offers uniquely intricate and easy character development, often shaping one character via the actions of another told through the second characters’ perspective. So you know what they said, or didn’t say, but you also know what they meant. Really incredibly nuanced storytelling that felt honest and believable. Masterfully done!

Took me Away
I'm glad I didn't listen to a bad review. This is a wonderful book. I enjoyed it while doing mundane tasks. Made them easy and I didn't want to just be done with them. It made life nice. Loved it!
