Love this world and story of Abram, Trap and its other leading characters.

Before it was an audio book I read this book multiple times on my kindle and now that’s in Audio it will be a new go to for re-listening. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life and bringing you into the story.

A good story with a lot of interesting analogies and historical similarities. Very good listen.

What a delightful surprise!

I have long loved, read, and re-read this quadology. What a joy to discover the Audible book. The story and writing is of high quality, as is the performance by the voice actor. I've always recommend the books. Now I can recommend the Audible book. I greatly look forward to the publication of the Audible book for the next three books! If love Christian analogies you will want to read/listen to this one.

Amazing Storytelling

If you want intriguing characters, a beautifully developed world, and a strong message of faith and hope, this is your book. Set amid both high fantasy palaces and action filled arenas, this book offers both philosophical depth, and adventurous action! Religious fantasy can sometimes be too heavy handed or lack interesting plot and relatable characters, but The Light of Eidon has all too human people struggling to find faith and destiny in a captivating world.

I 100% recommend this book, and always will.

the captivating story

I didn't care for the narrator. very bland. too much of an British aristocrat tone.

NEED A PREQUEL OR SEQUEL PLEASE KAREN

I really enjoy these books and am so glad for the audio book form. Hoping for the remainer to be released in audiobook. Wish, wish Karen Hancock would write a prequel ... or a sequel.

A prequel about Abram's life would be great.

Fantastic adventure

Light vs dark, good vs evil, struggle, persecution, and finally success but not always in the way you expect! I loved this book and can’t recommend it enough

Her first book was wonderful. This one felt a little weak, but maybe it was just the narrator.

So I love her first book Arena. I have enjoyed that book both in paper and audio several times and will visit it again soon. This one felt very confusing and the storyline felt weak. Maybe it was the narrator, maybe he is new to narrating tales. There seemed to be so many parts that weren't relevant to the overall story, so many questions that took way too long to be answered and the characters kept doing things that didn't feel natural. Again maybe the narrator just hasn't developed a wide catalog of emotions to use while story telling or maybe there was just a lot of filler in this book. There was also no humor and very few bright spots. It was one trial after another drudgery after another trial and more drudgery. I wanted to wisk the characters out of the book just to give them a break... maybe book 2 will be different.
