Best book I’ve bought on audible
This book was perfect for those who like murder and mystery. Captivating from start to finish. Can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out!

Not The Poet
Too wordy, nothing new, slow, I didn't like it . Not Michel Connolly. I loved the poet, and every book after it. Disappointing, thought maybe a new author perhaps a good book finally.

Dark, graphic in places but good mystery
A couple gruesome scenes to skip through, but this book held my attention well and offered a strong sense of setting. Narration was well done.

Suspenseful story line!
I enjoyed the subtle twists and turns. I wasn't out of breath or anxious. For me, there was just enough suspense to keep me reading, but, not lose sleep.

Awesome!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Very suspenseful right to the end. I kept guessing the killer and was so surprised at the end!

Keep Writing! I want more.
I got to the end of this book and immediately went to find other books written by him. I forgot that this was his first.
Pete, tell me you are working on another book!
This book takes the prize for twists and turns and an ending I did NOT see coming.
Really great character development.
I listen to my books so I can do my art at the same time. The performance was great as well.
I hope this author writes more. The perfect balance of mystery, thriller, relationships, a bit of sex that was left more to the imagination than it be over explicit.
My kind of book!
