Much more than just summaries
This audiobook isn’t just a bunch of Cliff’s notes or Blinkist summaries packed into one book. It provides an analysis of each book while providing humorous commentary and pointing out the BS along the way.
I’ve read several of these books before, and I believe this audiobook does a good job of distilling the essence of each book. I also appreciate the author’s attempts to ground the books in reality.
All in all, you can’t really go wrong with this book if you’re interested in this genre. I would recommend listening to this book then perhaps reading 1 or 2 of the underlying books that resonate the most with you if you’re still hungry for more.
