A Mistletoe Bride is murdered on Christmas Eve, 1893. Her ghost haunts the family stately home, Willow Manor, until her remains are discovered and the truth revealed. Set in the present day and Victorian England, the tragic young bride can at last share her story and put right the terrible injustice that destroyed her family and those she loved. The city of Oxford’s Randolph Hotel, and the village of Minster Lovell, the site of the stately home, are the locations for this heartwrenching story of deceit, love, and betrayal. The Mistletoe Bride, a local legend, was popularised in a poem by Thomas Haynes Bailey in 1884, and then set to music to become the popular song: The Mistletoe Bough!

A Riveting Story!
I highly recommend listening to this. You won’t be disappointed in this excellent ghost tale as there’s so much intrigue and family drama. I have to admit that I did shed a tear when the final outcome of the tragic mystery was revealed. The narrator did an excellent job in bringing the story to life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Very Entertaining Ghost Story
I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and any opinions expressed herein are my own.
What an interesting ghost story told from the POV of the ghost! The story is so well-written that author was able to deftly weave the story between two timelines and cause you to empathize with a ghost. This ghost story is not scary or anything that will give you nightmares but it is an enjoyable story of love and betrayal on a wedding day. - where the characters are from the past but also reincarnated to the present. Very entertaining.
The narrator, Lesley Dessalles, was really perfect for this book. She is able to convery the sadness of the ghost telling the story which pulls you into the narrative. She has a very pleasant voice with a slight British accent.
