Great Story, Terrible Abridged.
I mistakenly bought the abridged version of this great book... So much lost in this version that it is really not worth it. The performance and Story suffer from the major cuts from this version that it leaves open too many questions. Get the full version.

Good Book
Loved the book, although I have not read an Anne Rice book I did not love. It is a good story and it is book 1 of 3 in athis series and I am very much looking forward to reading the next 2. I highly reccomend this book and all the other Anne Rice books.

What Happened....
This story started out great and I was really enjoying it when it ended abruptly!🤔...it was as if someone came in and suddenly grabbed Anne Rice and said, "Stop wasting time on that, the Vampire Chronicles are a big hit, let's do more there"...we are left hanging...
Michael York did a wonderful job, his voice propels you into the characters and story...too bad..

Not my favorite, not awful
I thought the narrator used rather odd voices for the characters. It was kind of distracting me from the story itself. The story is interesting, it jumps back and forth a lot making it slightly challenging to follow. However, I don’t believe this was originally written to be a novel but a movie script so that could account for the abrupt “scene” changes.
