About this listen

What is this book good for? It establishes a clear linear understanding of biblical text in its purpose of driving the listener to see how faithfully God executes His purpose in creation. The covenantal framework from Adam to Christ, and from creation to consummation, is a most apt way of seeing the flow of the entire biblical text. One is lifted in the journey and is able to see the entire scope of Divine Providence work out the divine decree from generation to generation, book to book, event to event, person to person.

Thorough Overview of Baptist Covenant Theology

I am thankful for this book and how it maps out from Genesis to Revelation a redemptive historical view of what God has done throughout creation to redeem a people through the person and work, life and death of Jesus Christ. A proper understanding leaves a person in awe of what God truly has done for His people. It is all of grace, and we have only to believe. This book will help you have a more rich and fuller understanding of what and Who you have been called to believe in.

Great book. Deep, meaningful but understandable.

Covenant theology can be confusing. But this book handles what is true about God and his redemptive plan for his church.

Great Book - Challenging Narrator

The book is amazing, and I have a better understanding of typology now, but I need to listen to it a few more times. However, this narrator is really hard for me to listen to. It's a preference issue, and I just don't like his cadence or the way he pronounces some words (like theologian).

A helpful explanation of Baptist covenant theology

This book is primarily focused on the positive arguments arguments for Baptist covenant theology. This this does not give the distinctions between Baptist and Presbyterian government theology, but Is an easy listen. I recommend this audiobook.

a must listen

Love the comprehensive view of the covenants! This is a must read for any Christian trying to understand the covenants and typology, and how they relate and coalesce. Also love the narrator, he is the same guy who does the narration for the "Audit the Audit" YouTube channel - he is excellent, though his mispronunciation of words like Melchizedek are a slight blemish.
