Over time, life becomes grim for him. It is as if there is no correlation between his thoughts, feelings and actions. “The Oaf” is the fourth book in the collection of short stories entitled "The Usurper: and Other Stories." It is sequentially after “The Verdict of Hades”, and precedes “His Majesty’s Trial”.
