Publisher's summary

Ruethwyn's life may have been destroyed, but now she's ready.

With the blessing of the fey and others who she barely dares dream of, Ruethwyn's body is whole once more. Turning to the future, she sets her sight on her beloved who was stolen away by a dragon. Yet even with all her magic at her command, Ruethwyn stands little chance against such a powerful foe, so she must tread lightly.

Other foes threaten to halt Ruethwyn's efforts even now, though, foes that would kill her or imprison her. With her friends at her side, Ruethwyn will face any threats that stand in her way, especially since her friends have become dearer than she'd imagined. Still, any romance will have to wait, for at long last Ruethwyn can act.

The only question is if she's ready for an unexpected figure from her past. A figure she thought was gone forever.

Medrano's best series!

This book rocks! Read it already! But start with book 1 of course! It's name is The Avatar's Flames!

I love this series

This is the third one of the series. So you either have an idea what to expect and I can tell you you won't be disappointed. Or you have not read the previous works and I can tell you to give the first one a chance if you like some decent fantasy with strong female characters.

Fun and enjoyable series.

This series is exactly what I looking for in fantasy series. Great strong female characters, good storyline, and a really good performance by Ruth Urquhart.

Almost dropped

I almost dropped this series because of the narrator, and if I wasn't having trouble finding books I would have, I get that some people like the accent but it sounds like she's never said a great many words to another person, wrath, chagrin, any word or name ending in ma, ect. Not even to mention how stilted Korima (not Korimer as the narrator says) speaks makes her sound like a simple idiot.

As for the book itself it's standard for the author, half surprised there wasn't a angel added in to bang since the author seems phonically unable to not have angels and demons in every book trying to bang the MC. the series as a whole feels hollow, "oh you got maimed? let me patch that right up. Dead? Bit more work but you'll be right as rain in a hour!"
