Publisher's summary
The One Who Searched is a spellbinding story of Detective Bill Drozd, a veteran police officer searching for a methodical serial killer who has been leaving a trail of bodies for twenty-five years. What Detective Drozd does not realize, however, is this killer is also searching for something: peace at the end of his path, which he defines as a reckoning.
Each player does their job effectively, calculating the moves of the other; one to bring an end to the terror that captivates his city, and one to bring an end to his sick game. Who will emerge victorious?
Join author Lance Luciani in the first book in the Detective Drozd Series, and enter the hardened detectives world of murder and mayhem!

Story
When two Stanford graduate students set out to create a new kind of cigarette that wouldn’t kill them, they didn’t foresee all the obstacles that lay ahead — or the powerful forces their invention would unleash. Nearly 10 years after the launch of the JUUL, Backfired: The Vaping Wars asks: Could e-cigarettes have been the solution to one of the world’s most pressing public health problems—or was this technology doomed to introduce a whole new generation to nicotine, and end up perpetuating an intractable addiction?

Story
In weeks after the September 11 attacks, 18-year-old Mansoor Adayfi was kidnapped by Afghan militia and sold to US forces for bounty money. After months of interrogations, he was sent to the US military prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, as one of its first prisoners. Like the nearly 800 other men imprisoned at Guantanamo, Adayfi didn’t know why he was imprisoned or for how long. He had never seen a skyscraper and couldn’t imagine what the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center looked like, much less how they were destroyed.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

It has inspired people from John F Kennedy to The Beatles and became the '60s Bible of counterculture – all because of the timeless truths it shared. Suspense all the way!
This book keeps you engaged and guessing at every page. Very thought provoking. Excellent writing and narration. Would definitely watch this as a movie.

Riveting, possibly non fiction.
Each chapter is a new scene, well done - serial killing is so intriguing - is there a serial killer in us all?

meticulously crafted
Lance's latest detective novel is a thrilling game of cat and mouse that will leave readers on the edge of their seats. The book is far from your typical thriller, and the pacing is perfectly tuned to keep the tension high until the very end. One can only hope that Lance will treat us to another book.
