“Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altar and wait for your fire to fall upon my heart.” (Psalm 5:3)

So so...So Good. Gets even better with study!

After listening 50+ times, so far, I am more convince than ever of its accuracy and the absolute need to consume God's Word daily! Intimacy in a relationship requires time. God wants to talk to you! and this makes it easy to listen. John 1:14

Stop the music!

I love this translation of the Bible and Brian Simmons has done a great job reading it, but the music is terribly distracting, to me anyway, Maybe lower the volume of the music, change the music style or leave it out entirely…. something. It was just very difficult for me to enjoy fully while that annoying music was almost overriding the narration. I’m not sure if I will keep this one.

Passionate review of Psalms & Proverbs

This was a great (and reliable) telling of the Word. Particularly the Psalms & Proverbs were nourishing to a Hungry & Thirsty Soul. With Great oration, I would recommend this to anyone that wanted a deeper understanding of THE WORD. I was particularly blessed by this rendition of Both the Psalms and the Proverbs.

Love, love, love it!

I love listening to this at night as I am waiting to go to sleep. I wake up several times and it's still playing. My spirit is being fed while the rest of me is asleep. I'm picturing myself watching Jesus as He is standing there as others are focused on Him, as He preaches the Sermon on the Mount. I wake up feeling His presence. I just love this version.

Great translation, poor labeling

I love this translation and Brian Simmons is a great narrator.

The problem is labeling the books of the Bible as though it was a novel rather than a series of inter-connected books. When you see 470 chapters instead of the 27 individual books it is not only daunting, but it prevents reading a specific book out of order, like Ephesians. (Do I really need to do all that math to find what I want to read?)

Putting the book name along with the current chapter number would be very helpful.
