crazy but good!!!

What did you love best about The Poet?

I loved that it had soo many different twist in it.. u really didn't know who the poet was till the ending.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Omg yes this plot had me going.. I actually was stuck on the pedifiler killing the kids and police I never expected another cop to be doing it. And then I was like him thinking it was the lady cop and it really wasn't her.. it was soo crazy had me hooked from start to finish.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene had to be when gamble came to pick up the camera dressed ad a lady. That part I did not expect and threw me off.

Good book, different style from typical Connelly

Where does The Poet rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is good with a very good storyline, although Connelly strays from his normal writing style. I really enjoyed listening to this book.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this book and there was a nice twist, however some of the story did not gel for me.

Enjoyed the story have listened repeatedly Hats off to the narrator also made it that much better of a story

Long story but enjoyable

This story-published back in 1996- was different from the Michael Connelly books I normally read/listen to. The story was quite good & had some twists to it that I found interesting. However, there are quite a few references to things & businesses from the 90’s and the narration did not quite distinguish all the various voices. I would recommend, especially if you can get it at a reduced price.

I have read almost every Connelly Novel and have enjoyed all of them. This one was not my favorite, but still a good read/ listen. Its very long, 15hrs...

One of the best

I have listen to most of the Bosch books via Audio Books and loved most of them. I was a little hesident to step outside of my comfort zone, but was glad I did. This book had many twists and turns. All which were exciting. Get this book tonight! You'll be glad you did!

Great page turner

I only listened to this book because it was a prequel to a book in the Harry Bosh series. I went back and forth but decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. Great book and it’s one I would highly recommend if you like murder mysteries

great story

a story of a newspaper reporter following a serial killer and solving his mysteries. the story is in the 90's and a little dated, but still good.
