About this listen

Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year.

The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.

Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.

Pandora Williams is Nocturne Falls' most successful real estate agent. And least successful witch. Her magic never has the intended outcome, but she's learned to live with that. Mostly. Yes, it sucks, but what can she do? Then a hot new neighbor shows up and suddenly her magic works. Very cool, but very suspect. Especially since he's a total non-believer.

Cole Van Zant likes practicality and absolutes. Things he can see and touch. So not magic. But when his teenage daughter insists she's a witch - and they're now living in a town that celebrates Halloween every day - he needs help. Of the witchy variety. Thankfully, his sexy neighbor buys into all that hocus pocus.

Enlisting her help seems like a great idea until spending time together reveals a supernatural surprise about who Cole really is. A secret even he didn't know. Could Pandora and Cole really be meant for one another or is their attraction too much to believe?

Tired of listening to stories about humans? Consider the werewolf! Taking various forms over the course of centuries and mythologies, often as flesh-devourers, werewolves now commonly appear in fantasy and romance novels as shape-shifters. The shape-shifting element in werewolves' stories has almost humanized them, depicting the internal struggles we all face within ourselves, on some level or another.

A light hearted fun listen 🦇

For me this book felt like a cross between Disney's Halloween town and Hallmark's Good Witch.
It's a squeaky clean, family themed sweet romance. The pace is very laid back with just a few minor hiccups. Nocturne Falls and the characters in it are very likable. The story was a bit predictable, but still entertaining. The narration was excellent!! B.J Harrion did a great job portraying the different characters. For lovers of all things paranormal this is one witchy good listen!

Cute contemporary read

This book was so good and I loved the characters. Though I know that some things that happened where just there to move the story forward, I wish that either there was more to it or less. However, the twist at the end did made up for it.

Witches, witchlings, familiars and manipulative exes

Fun, not to mention the whole refurbishment of an outdated manor. B.J. Harrison does well, but I still believe a female might do better. The story is superior to the last book, the gargoyle and the faery, I like witches. I just do, and especially the truly magical non satanic witches. Pure magic.

Cute

If you could sum up The Professor Woos the Witch in three words, what would they be?

Cute, girly entertainment.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Professor Woos the Witch?

Which scene was your favorite?

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Any additional comments?

Cute story

An interesting twist to the witch's familiar story. I like it! Cole & Pandora don't start out well but do end up having their happily ever after. A surprise from Cole's past threatens the couple's future and a personal discovery changes/ rocks a handsome characters reality. The narrator did a fantastic job!

Slightly cocky professor

The story was cute but I did feel the professor was more arrogant than needed. once the secondary storyline came into place it was much more interesting

It's a good series. Funny moments. Minor cursing.

BJ Harrison is a good narrator. I like the way he voices the older females Corette, Birdie, Alice and Gertrude. Most male narrators are awful with female characters. Cole doesn't have an accent (his father does), which I thought maybe he lost by becoming a teacher. But in subsequent books he has a North Carolina drawl. The cursing isn't different from what's heard on television these days. At least it isn't vulgar.
