Slow. Pathetic in parts.
Kept waiting for a story to develop, but I just sleep-walked with Joe through life. He’s not the brightest bulb in the circuit! A dull character and a dull book. Stuck with it and ending was about as exciting as most of the book. A slice of a not-very deep person’s life. Like a one-trick pony. Yawn…zzzz. The reader was good, probably only reason I stuck with this book.
