Good information

There was nothing new here, but that's not a bad thing. It just means for people looking to balance life with finances, who want to both enjoy life and accumulate financial wealth, this book speaks to that. And, yes there are other books on the subject, but each author says it in their own way. For me, I would have preferred it was more direct. But, for others this is what they like. Variety is good.
However, the narrator, Kevin Clay was spot on. This was so in his lane. He's got this amazing announcers voice that was perfect for this book.

Maximizing Your Resources

Would you listen to The RichLife again? Why?

Yes, I plan on listening to this audiobook again-multiple times, in fact.

This was an interesting and thought-provoking book! Its premise is that when something is of value to us, we protect and take good care of it (think of the goose that lays golden eggs). What the author does-rather well, in fact-is to help the reader/listener consider the many "resources" beyond money that are available to us: time, space and family are just a few examples. Also, your primary "resource" is yourself.

By listening to this audiobook, I began looking at how I am using my own "resources", comparing what I'm presently doing to what I WANT to be doing-then setting out to bring the two into alignment.

By far, my favorite concept from the book was the notion of "viewing life as a school." Instead of becoming angry or feeling discouraged by life's circumstances, the author encourages us to view them as lessons to be mastered, much like what we'd do at school.

The tenets of the "viewing life as a school" concept are as follows:
1) We live in a school called life
2) There are no mistakes-only valuable lessons
3) A lesson will be repeated until it is learned
4) Each time a lesson is repeated, it becomes more painful

What a great concept!
