Story
When Michael Moorcock began chronicling the adventures of the albino sorcerer Elric, last king of decadent Melniboné, and his sentient vampiric sword, Stormbringer, he set out to create a new kind of fantasy adventure, one that broke with tradition and reflected a more up-to-date sophistication of theme and style. The result was a bold and unique hero: a rock-and-roll antihero who would channel all the violent excesses of the '60s into one enduring archetype.

After The Night Stalker became one of the highest rated television movies of all time, a sequel, The Night Strangler, was released the following year to great acclaim. Now, after more than three decades out of print, The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler are together in one volume.

Taunted and tormented by other children, Matt's life was irrevocably altered after he was blinded by radioactive materials while saving the life of an old man. The payoff? An unbreakable will and a keen intelligence, helping focus the super-senses with which he was blessed during the accident. His story is one of love, pain, disappointment, and strength.

It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Another Fine Performance
I have been very pleased with these dramatized readings of the old Shadow pulps, and this one is no exception.
When a businessman of note disappears after returning from a trip to Russia, the Shadow sets his forces to track the man down. After discovering his location, the Shadow discovers a plot to carry out a great theft and has mere days to make his way back and forth across the Atlantic to deliver justice.
The Romanoff Jewels is one of the stories that showcases the Shadow’s adaptability in foreign lands as well as in New York. It’s always interesting to hear of scenarios wherein the Shadow’s skills are put to a new challenge.
The cast once again put forth fine performances. Like with the others, they are just serious enough to offer tension, yet have an undeniable cheese factor that makes them just the slightest bit humorous, reminiscent of the radio shows of the 30s.
As a long time Shadow fan, is brings me great joy that the books are getting some recognition almost a century since their inception.

Another pulp Winner! The Shadow Knows!
This is another full cast recording of a classic Shadow pulp from Walter Gibson. It may well be the best one Audible has done to date. The cast is in fine form here and the story is one of the stronger entries in the long running series. These full cast productions exist almost as a kind of longer form version of Old Time Radio reordered today with better sound and effects. What an absolute treat. For my money, these are better than the single reader versions Audible has also tried. i certainly hope this series continues and that Audible gives us more multi voice cast performances. Who knows what plans lurk in the hearts of Audible producers? The Shadow Knows! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Dear Audible, Please record more multi-cast performances of these fun stories. The narrator captures the tone wonderfully and the excursions into radioland are a welcome variance in the huge Audible catalog.

Some of the best of Pulp
I love the old Shadow books and buy them whenever I can find them, and the old radio show as well. The fact this was full cast made this the best of both worlds. Please make more of these.
