Will probably listen to this again

I'm definitely a fan of the Scarlet Pimpernel. It's a tad dramatic and a tad predictable, but the characters are fun and honestly, I wouldn't mind listening to this book again.

nostalgic

I hadn't read this since I was a teenager, and it's good to see it stand up solidly. Marguerite's relationship strife really hit home, though there's an uuncomfortable racial caricature near the end. I really liked the whiskey grandma timbre of Flo Gibson's voice. That said, this particular recording is rather tinny.
