Francine has yet again outdone herself!!!

I've read this book a dozen times via audible and each time I am humbled by God's love and grace over our lives. We humans sometimes think that we are in control but the truth is God is the one who orchestrates every event that has happened in our lives, both good and bad. He does this to show you who he is and that he is much big than what we think or have conceived in our minds.
This is a great book to read about God, love, faithfulness and mercy.

What made the experience of listening to The Scarlet Thread the most enjoyable?

Francine Rivers masterfully sets the stage for a story that a describes the lives of too many of us who get caught up in ourselves and our own desires. She weaves through her tale the historical diary of a woman moved against her will and the painful journey to finding peace through Jesus. The parallel stories are intriguing and a pleasure to read.

Mary Katherine. Of course Francine Rivers is amazing and I enjoyed every second from the moment I heard the first word until I heard the last word.❤️

I've read both the paperback and the audio of this book. Both experiences were awesome. This book touched all of my emotions from happiness to anger to sorrow. Francine reminds us of God's sovereignty and loving plan for our lives.

Francine Rivers, along with the Lord Jesus, always have something for me in her books. This was a raw and painful book, mostly due to the harshness of the historical story content. But it served its purpose in prompting self reflection.

One of the best books I've read in a long time! The character development is amazing, she stays true to the gospel and encouraged my faith with this beautiful work! The Audible version is really great!

A must read for a woman struggling

if you are married, you can relate to these heartache and trials. Francine helps you to see that God has a bigger plan and thing always work to the good of the Lord.

All books I have read so far by her are amazing. I absolutely adore her and her messages. I am dealing with a marriage separation as we speak and this is absolutely inspiring and beautiful.
