Resumen del Editor

The City of Wonders has been saved by nearly miraculous forces, and the Silent Army has risen, ready to defend the Fellein Empire and Empress Nachia at any cost.

The power that was hidden in the Mounds is on the move, seeking a final confrontation with the very entities that kept it locked away since the Cataclysm. Andover Lashk has finally come to accept his destiny and prepares to journey back to Fellein.

The Sa’ba Taalor continue their domination over each country and people they encounter, but the final conflict is coming: The Great Wave of the Sa’ba Taalor stands to destroy an empire, and the Silent Army prepares to stop them in their tracks.

Caught in the middle is the Fellein Empire and the people who have gathered together on the final battlefield. The faithful and the godless, the soldiers and killers alike all stand or fall as old gods and new bring their war to a world-changing end.

Some struggles are eternal. Some conflicts never cease. The Gods of War are here, and they are determined to win.

The end?

I'll say overall I really enjoyed this series, but it seems to have really lost direction as it went on. As far as the ending? I think it's a bad sign when you can't tell if the series is over or not.

Loved it.

I think James A Moore did a decent job of tying it all together, was a bit worried at the slower pace of the earlier books. Lots of action! Good action.

I hated this books the most

the ending was anti climatic, the first book was the best and it just got worse. there was 3 real successes the heros/side characters really had. it was the most gargantuan disappointment I've had in reading a book

warning spoilers

the author made the fractions too unbalanced, he made it so the all sabitrea (sorry don't know how to spell there name) were equivalent of Hercules. While making the Imperial soldiers equivalent of....well like plain soldiers. It also felt ridiculous that the imperial armies did know how to make siege engines even though they clearly had the knowledge. You mean to tell me that they were smart enough to build crossbows and great walls. but we're to stupid to build catapults or ballistas. So basically the greyskined wiped the floor with the empire and ends in a draw...and I'm asking myself and was the point.

waste of time

I don't know the authors end game but after 4 books where the enemy has been at the gates destroying everything and the supposedly good guys just chilling in the palace, that's too much for me to go through in book five
