Mary Rogers

I really like true crime stories. I grew up listening to Paul Harvey’s The Rest of the Story and watching Unsolved Mysteries. I envisioned the book would go along those lines. It starts off well. I found the topic to be interesting, the unsolved murder of Mary Rogers. It is clear the author did excellent research into the crime and the time period, to provide a compelling story. However, the book quickly became repetitive and drawn out. If it was well edited to eliminate repetition, the book would be significantly shorter, and more enjoyable.
