Very dark. I listened to on speed 2 because I had such a hard time. It’s difficult to even imagine the legitimacy of a story that is “mean girls2.0”. It’s supposed to be based in high school and yet these are not only hardened criminals, they are also abusive experienced lovers. It’s hard to me to think that a 17 year old would be that “mature”. I can see catty and emotionally immature but for making long term drama…. No

A wonderful surprise
I downloaded this book not knowing much about it, and I am so glad I did! I enjoyed every minute of this audiobook from the storyline to the characters the narrator. I am very much looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

Addicting
I've read this book several times now. But the audio was 🔥 The mystery of The Elite King's, the games they played. It's so hard to tell if they are with or against you. I want so much more of each & every character. They all play a role so perfectly. The chemistry between Madison & Bishop is off the charts! I can't get enough. I'm so ready for the next audio.

Listened to EIGHT times
This book feels to me like the delicious soap opera you find yourself watching every day! Cant get enough!
The endings to these books always ends up with you NEEDING more!
The one thing I have a hard time with is Lucy Rivers!
Recast! I don’t care how far along the series is! Better now then never!
I’m good at using my imagination, and after eight times listening to this dark noir novel I’m able to tune her voice out. Lol. So sorry but it’s true!
Even though there are holes in the story, and the characters change appearance at times (one book kitty will have jade green eyes the next will be brown) can be overlooked if it were optioned for film. Just saying 😎😉

I got the audiobook and I can say it was phenomenal, this is a dark masterpiece story written my an amazing author. The story will have you reading all the way, the characters are mesmerizing and intriguing.
