This intimate, personal book is so full of inspiring thoughts of wisdom. Here is one quote: “If you can talk, you can sing. In order to sing well, it is necessary to sing easily.” It’s more like a philosophy book. So many stories of inspiration. It looks at reasons why people sing and how people can improve their singing. It looks at how song is used in different cultures. It shows examples of how song builds communities. And how singing can allow people to reveal their true personalities. I finished this book feeling inspired. I had no idea what this book was about before I started it. Now I feel I have acquired a wealth of inspiration.
