About this listen

I've been in love with Sebastian Kemp since the second grade.
Yes, the Sebastian Kemp.
World famous hockey player. International playboy. Gorgeous heartthrob.
I know, right? Get in line.
I've been best friends with his younger sister since grade two, but I was convinced that he forgot I was alive.
That's why I was so surprised when I turned on the news and saw my name and face all over it, saying that we were engaged.
He shows up out of nowhere.
Eight years since I last saw him and somehow looking even hotter.
He says that he needs me to pretend to be his fiancée.
Just for one night.
What a tease.
It's like finally getting your favorite dessert, but you only get a small bite.
Still, any taste of Sebastian is better than nothing.
I'll take a bite out of him any time.
By the end of the night, my lifelong crush looks like he wants to devour me.
But is it real or part of the charade?
I have no pucking idea.

Become a fan of the hottest hockey team in town: The San Antonio Hyenas.

my pretend fiance

I loved this cute story of Alina and Sebastain. What's a girl to do when her childhood crush tells everyone she is engaged to him, and you have no clue? Olivia T. Turner's the sniper is book one of the San Antonito Hyenas and a must read for anyone who loves a good romance story. I cannot wait to read book 2.

What I liked- this was super hot *fans self* it’s February and I think I need to turn on the A/C… this was also super cute. I love a good childhood crush story. And the closet was to die for!
What I didn’t- I don’t have a closet like that one. Heck, I think my apartment is smaller.
What I thought about the narration- this was dual narration, meaning a female voice for the female POV, and a male voice for the male POV. The narrators were clear and easy enough to understand. The MMC had an accent, so both narrators had to do an accent at times. The male voice did a great job with the accent, but the female voice didn’t do too well. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It was relatively short, which is perfect for listening to on a short road trip, although it is smutty, so you might want to listen to it alone!

Emotional

I enjoyed this emotional book. Sebastian and Alina's story was sweet and a bit angsty. It gave me plenty of feels. The narrator's voices fit the characters well and their performances well done.

Wonder experience listening to book

Sebastian had known Alina since she was a kid as his sister's best friend. He was being asked to sign a contract with the worst hockey team in the league, the problem was his image. The team owner wanted him to be engaged or married before signing a player's contract and the owner wanted it done by the end of the week. When asked for her name, Sebastian said Alina Hoover.

Will Alina be his fiancé? Is she already married? Do they have a future?.

sweet and strong sister's best friend

I think Elena is sweet. She has been stuck on Sebastian for years. When the tabloid stories hit, she is blind sided. I love how she rolls with it. Sebastian is more than he seems and he is also less than what has been said about him. The narration is well done. I enjoy listening to this one.

Campy Fun

I liked this book well enough when it came out. Your typical ott campy fun. With hockey. Only bit I wasn't crazy about was the reformed playboy angle. The narrators were ok. Decent speaking voices. Hers moreso. Their other gender voices were kinda iffy. Still a fun listen.

Narration is Great

I read this story when the book originally came out and was excited to see if the narration adds anything to the overall enjoyment, and honestly I think the story is well-written and entertaining either way but the narration was great. The performance definitely adds some depth to the characters inner feelings and their conversations and I found that to be really enjoyable.

The Narrators!

While the story in *The Sniper* had potential, I found it just okay, with several noticeable plot holes that detracted from the overall experience. I understand it's a novella, but the pacing felt too rushed, leaving many aspects underdeveloped. However, what truly saved the book for me was the beautiful narration by Vivienne LaRue and Noel Harrison. Their performances brought depth and emotion to the story, making it much more enjoyable. Noel Harrison, in particular, has become a new favorite of mine. I finished the story because of them, and their narration is the standout feature of this audiobook.

Great audiobook

Read the story after the changes were made and now the story is really good. Sebastian is a new player for the San Antonio Hyenas but he needs to be settled down, so he tells everyone that Alina is his fiance. Alina is his little sister's best friend and he always had a crush on her. Now they finally get their chance. What started as a fake relationship quickly changed into the real thing.

Cute best friend’s brother romance

This was a cute best friend’s brother romance. It was a short story with a fast pace. The storyline was entertaining and had both humor and steam. Sebastian and Alina had great chemistry and they got a satisfying HEA.

Audiobook review: I really enjoyed the narration. The narrators were very uniform in their pace and I felt like they portrayed the characters really well.
